Emmett

Emmett is one of the most beautiful dogs, physically, you'll ever meet! Part of his beauty comes from what looks like English Setter in his genes. As gorgeous as he is, he's going to need a pretty specific family, one without small children. Emmett has never lived in a home environment. He was probably part of somebody's " hunting dog dream". He never had to acquiesce to humans which is exactly what he has learned to do while with us. Emmett came to us heartworm positive. He completed his treatment for heartworm, is in good health, and is ready for adoption. He would thrive best with an active adult family. His family should have a fair bit of experience with dogs. be willing to take on an incredibly awesome dog, one with which you can set boundaries... sensibly, without being overbearing. Emmett requires a yard with a 6-foot fence. If you have these qualities Emmett would be perfect for you! Emmett does not do well at adoption events.
