Emma turned one year old on June 6, 2020. She cannot get enough of being with her people! We are told she is crate trained. She did previously live with other dogs, however, she started to demand that she be the only one to get attention from her human mom by being aggressive with the other two dogs. She has been around children and did well - exuberant children she does shy away from. previous to being surrendered, however, we have not tested her since she has been at our shelter for over a year. She can be more shy with men and needs more time to warm up.
Emma knows her basic commands. She is HIGH energy and needs to burn it off daily. She also needs help in knowing that jumping up on people is not allowable. We are looking for an active, strong leader, loving, experienced dog owner who can help round her out - she really does want to please. I do believe she could live with other dogs with the right training and the right adopter. Draining her energy daily is key. She is just a lover!
Emma is negative for heart worm, tick borne illnesses and parasites. She is also microchipped. She weighs 50 pounds and is approximately 18-20 inches tall at the shoulder.
