Keep reading to learn more about Emily Spinach… (The good part): Have you ever thought about getting your dog a dog of their own? Well, if this thought has ever occurred to you then Emily Spinach may be the pup for you. Emily Spinach is a 5-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix that came to us from a very sad environment. Emily is shy and would really benefit from the companionship of a confident dog. Since being in rescue, Emily is learning to live in a house with a family and all that entails. She has made great progress in her potty training and has found the crate is her safe space. Foster mom says, "She is very attached to our resident dog and seeks out safety with him. He is the one she follows around the house. We pair them in any activity we do with her (walks, potty breaks, feeding time). Emily is amazing with cats! We have a friendly, outgoing cat and a shy cat and she does really well with giving the shy one his space. She shows no interest in chasing the outgoing cat when he’s running about, but she does wag her tail and allow headbutts." Emily will do best in a calm home with older, dog savvy kids. We never met mom or dad and have no idea her true breed makeup. We’re not sure if “perfect angel” is a recognized breed, so we’ll just say she’s an adorable mutt that looks just like a Wheaten Terrier. What we do know is that she’s happy, healthy and 100% good dog. Emily Spinach's adoption fee is $350, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
