If you want an incredibly sweet dog, you have got to meet Emily. Emily was slated for euthanasia but while laying on table waiting to be PTS, the ACO had a change of heart. She could not put this sweet girl down and contacted e-rescue so that we could offer Emily a new LEASH on life.
As you can see by her pictures, Emily is built rather low to the ground, slightly stocky build but hey, she's a Corgi/Beagle mix and the Corgi part of her family definitely dictated her body style. She has the most delightful, huggy personality without being terribly clingy. Emily is all of about 2 years old, so she has reached her adult size. She's energetic but is out of the puppy stage of chaos. She had no potty messes in her kennel, so she either is or will likely house-train easily. Emily would make a fantastic companion for a single person or a terrific addition to an active family. She'll be waiting for her forever home at:
