My name is Elyssa. My story is a bit sad and also kinda short. I was found by the side of the road with my momma after she had been hit by a car. I am ok but a bit scared and sad. As you can imagine I don't understand anything that moves too quickly because of what happened to my mom. I am just looking for a family that can take care of me so I can love them back. If the dog is available and a possible match, you will be contacted by an Adoption Counselor who will review your lifestyle, expectations, and experience and guide your selection of the most appropriate pet. SARL reserves the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant. By requesting information on an animal and initiating the screening process, it is not a guarantee that particular animal is yours to adopt. SARL does not place our pets on a "first come, first served" basis. We only adopt to local candidates who are able to visit our shelter and never ship any of our pets regardless of the suitability of the prospective home.
