Elwood was just rescued from the Tehama County shelter and can't wait to find his own home! Here is what the shelter had to say about him:
Elwood is a great guy who came into the shelter with his brother Jake. Their breeds are only a guess. He is about 1 year old and weighs a thin 65lbs. Elwood has been some what independent in the shelter atmosphere with a quiet and calm personality. He is reserved but would likely bloom with some attention and loving from a new family. He has a sweet face and thick long coat that with a good grooming would look awesome. He likes to roam around yard and check stuff out. He seems to be friendly but watchful with new people. He may be a little under socialized but likes people and is quickly picking up new friends and companions. Elwood is a gorgeous dog with tons of potential for a new family to enjoy.
We can add that he is a gorgeous, wonderful, sweet, mellow boy! He seems to get along with all the dogs he meets and is friendly towards people as well. He is quiet and rides well in a car - he is a wonderful boy!
