Elvis is a big goofy puppy. We imagine that he is roughly a year old, but has maintained his puppy personality. Elvis is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. He is extremely friendly and affectionate and will slather you in kisses.
Elvis will need some obedience training with his new family to help him fine tune his manners. He seems to have a grasp of some commands and walks well on leash. Elvis would do best with an owner that has experience with large breed dogs.
Elvis seems to get along with other dogs, and has played with Lulu. He would need to be introduced to any dogs in the home prior to adoption. We have not assessed Elvis with cats at this time. Elvis' size and energy level may overwhelm small children and he may be best suited for a home with older children.
All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperment to interested adopters
Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions.
