This beautiful and gentle girl was found abandoned on a country road along with her 4 pups, dumped cruelly by someone not bothering to spay her nor prepared to accept the consequences of his thoughtless decision. To have them all freeze to death was his solution.
Mama dog Ellie May is between 1 1/2 and 2 years old and has been a good mum to her babies, but now she is spayed since she is no longer nursing, and has her shots, flea and parasite treated just in case. She did not abandon her babies, but stayed with them like the good mum she is.
Very skinny, she needs to gain weight on decent food along with loving attention which she has not had and deserves. She appears to be a young Golden Retriever/(maybe) Collie mix. She is a beautiful girl and will make a great pet.
