Hi there, I'm Ellie Mae and I am a purebred American Water Spaniel. My former owners were elderly and could not keep up with an active young dog like me. I am a year old but have quite a bit of puppy energy in me. I do well with other dogs and seem to be ok with cats. I currently have some hair loss--I have been looked over by the vet and my hair should be growing back. It appears that my hair loss may be behavior-related due to not getting enough stimulation.
