If you’re a hound lover, ELLIE IS EVERYTHING!!! This 2yo Redbone Coonhound is just everything sweet wrapped in a Valentine package. Ellie comes from an amazing family. She has been a very loved girl. Unfortunately, she had an issue with their 11yo son. Little things made her growly with him. We have no idea why. The family took her in at 8 months old. The thought is possibly an issue in the previous home. Therefore, we prefer not to place Ellie with children. We first met her in a local pet store, with dogs in and out, all the smells, people in and out, and she was so well behaved. She greeted us like she had always known us, and was so mannerly.
Ellie is housebroken, crate trained, and great with other dogs. Cats are likely a “no,” as she tends to go after squirrels. She still has 2yo dog energy, but once she gets some exercise, she is your best couch bud. Ellie’s mom sent all her favorite blankets, beds, and toys with her, along with a bag of her food. We will send all of this with her lucky adopter. Ellie is spayed, up to date on shots, and preventatives, and more than ready to be your walking partner and Lifetime movie watching bestie.
