Ellie came into our care with a group of undersocialized doodles. We have included her intake photo so potential adopters are aware of how neglected these sweet dogs were. They have all undergone their first grooming session. To say it was a traumatic experience for them would be an understatement. They are all feeling tons better, but will likely need to be sedated for future grooming appointments until they are used to be being handled. Ellie and her pals are very dog social. We are working on getting them used to being on leash and receiving human love and affection. Rotating them in the yard with other friendly dogs has been crucial for their growth here in the shelter. Going to a home with another dog would be the best fit for this crew. Their yard at home will also need secure fencing since they are such a flight risk. Contact us for more info!
