PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ELLA IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. Ella and her brother Toby were scheduled to be euthanized before they even had a chance at life. At only 6 months old, they found themselves at the local pound. After being one of the longest residents in an overflowing county pound with no resources or help to get these dogs homes, they ended up on the euthanasia list to create space for the never-ending stray intakes. We couldn't let that happen, so we stepped in. A note from her foster: Ella is one of the sweetest dogs that I have ever met. She is outgoing, loyal, and just wants to make friends with anyone and everyone. She’s crate trained & will last approximately 5-6 hours in her crate without accidents. This is an improvement from a week ago, so she is learning quickly. She loves to take walks on the leash & doesn’t pull your arm off or jerk you around. Ella is also good with other dogs and kids of all ages. She has not been directly around cats, but we can cat test for anyone interested. All puppies will have typical puppy energy and require a devoted adopter willing to put in the time and effort to train them. Puppies are not guaranteed to be house trained but will soon start crate training once fully weaned. Puppies this age are great to introduce to children as well as other animals. Ella will be adopted under a spay contract with an adoption fee of $500 and $100 of that fee will be reimbursed to the adopter once proof of spay/neuter is complete.
