Elijiah

Our Pamida Meet and Greet on March 3rd has been CANCELLED due to the bad weather.

Elijah does not have a heart murmur after all! Instead, he has a anomoly of a vein going into his lung. We had 3 different Veterinarians examine Elijah. According to the vet, many veins go into the lung lobes, and having one abnormal is harmless! Elijah is just fine and going to lead a long and healthy life!

Meet little Elijah, he is a 4 month old, 3 pound maltese/shih tzu puppy. He was surrendered to Almost Home by a breeder Elijah is a cute, happy little puppy and is learning about cratetraining and housetraining in foster care. Elijah is very small, so we are requiring that he go to a home with no young children.

Elijah is neutered, vaccinated for DHPP, rabies, kennel cough and wormed. HIs adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
