Beautiful Elijah has a hopeful home with a boxer-knowledgeable family in Hope. Her new parents are school teachers, who are dedicated to becoming all she can be, and she gets two kids to grow up with too!
Elijah is just an 8-9 week old brindle and white baby who is already in need of a new home. She looks to be either a backyard bred boxer, or a boxer x pittie gal. Either way, she has a great easy-going, "cuddle me please" temperment that is very endearing.
She was abandonned at a local vets office after her leg was injured, and her owners did not want to pay for it to be fixed. All too often people purchase puppies on a whim without considering the financial costs and time it takes to have a dog. Poor Eli was a victim of such circumstances. The vets originally felt that her leg was broken, but it now looks to be just a soft tissue injury. She is on anti-inflamatories to help heal it up. Eli is heading into foster care, and will not be ready for a new home until her leg heals a bit. She will need a home that is able to keep her quiet at first in order to ensure that her leg has time to heal properly.
Eli is looking for a home that will COMMIT to all of her needs, take her to puppy classes, socialize her a ton, and enable her to grow up to be all she can be. She will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, tattooed, and vet checked before heading to her new home.
