EDDY

This handsome guy was a staff favorite at the Porterville Shelter, but as his hold was coming to an end there, he happily came to Milo instead! We quickly came to see why he was a favorite as he has a very friendly and gentle soul. Eddy is good with other dogs and his fosters all say he is house trained and walks great on leash. He became more active and playful as he adjusted to their home and does well when left alone in the home. He loves to play with kids but can be too excited and mouthy for small children. Eddy would love a family with dog-savvy kids over 14 or in a family with another dog. Eddy loves to lounge, but is also quite athletic; don't let his stocky build fool you, he loves a good game of chase! Eddy has the basic commands, and will continue to learn quickly for anyone holding a bag of cheese treats. Eddy is great in the car, has good recall at the park, and at the end of a long day (full of napping or dog adventures) he gives the best cuddles!
