$60.00 Adoption Fee includes Distemper vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and ID tag. Dogs and puppies (if old enough) will also receive Rabies vaccination and be blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. If we have been able to spay/neuter the pet, it is also included in the adoption fee. If not done, the adoptive person is responsible for the cost of spaying/neutering by the date designated in our contract. You can apply for me online!

My Story: Hey! I'm Eddie and I'm the mature guy here at the shelter. Some may call me a "senior" but I don't think that's a bad thing. My estimated birthday is 7-29-00. I'm a low key, mellow, and lovable dog. My past is a question, but I had it kind of rough before I was brought into the shelter. I was full of ticks, had dirty and matted hair, and was super skinny. That has worked in my favor though because I was treated for the ticks, given a bath and hair cut and the best part is that I get canned dog food twice a day. They say it's to get my weight back up, but I know it's because they love me so much.

And really, what's not to love? I like everyone that comes to visit me. And if you take me on a leisurely stroll, I'm so happy to just wander around outside. Even though everyone at the shelter has been good to me, I would still like to have a home of my own. If you have a quiet household and would like a companion, then I'm your dog! Just stop in at the shelter to meet me or apply online!

CCHS is a wonderful No-Kill animal shelter. We rely on donations and volunteers to keep running. We help hundred of pets who are just with us temporarily, but we also specialize in those that need surgery, may be blind, deaf, missing limbs, or have been abused, neglected or unloved.
