Echo, a dachsund cross is @ 5 years old. This young fella is about as laid back as a canine can be. A warm lap to curl up on, some belly rubs and echo is your friend for life . If space is an issue ? ... no problem ... this short legged friend needs minimal space for some exercise. Echo walks on a leash well and responds to basic canine commands like sit ,stay , come . For a first time dog experience or perhaps an elderly persons companion, Echo would be ideal . He is fine around children and other dogs . Echo trains and responds well with treats and loves the attention of a caring , gentle hand . Eager to please he will stick by your side and in a short time become a wonderful addition to a family who can spend sometime with a quiet, easy going fella who deserves a great home . With the right fit , Echo will steal your heart quickly .
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
