Dropped off one night in the police pen with Goliath (the huge Doberman), both of us wearing shock collars ... and no one has come looking for us. The first couple of days the staff tried to reassure us that our family would come and get us and take us home. But today, they sat us down and explained to us that this happens all of the time. They are positive that the owner's will come looking for their dog, just to be let down when no one does. Hello there, my name is Dylan. I am a male Shepherd/Doberman mix and I am about 3 years old. Some people should not have pets, they don't know that a pet is a commitment and they do not understand the bond that dogs have with their family. We would do anything for our families and then to just be dumped, is really hard to swallow. I am really hoping to put this behind me and move on as soon as possible!
