Duke-adopted

Duke will be participating in Pets in the Park so come on out and meet him!!!!! I have settled into my foster home and really enjoy their two year old son. He likes to chase me and play with me. I am house trained and I sleep in the kennel when my foster family is not at home. I also love to play with Yogi, a little poodle cross. Yogi didn't want to play with me but I convinced him we could have some fun together. I don't know exactly when my birthday is but I look like I am about 10 months old. Everyone who sees me comments on how handsome I am. They especially like my floppy ears. Sometimes they stand right up but usually they can't decide if they want to be up or down. No one knows exactly what breed of dog I am. I am lean and active and my foster mom thinks I am a hound, collie and shepherd cross. I know sit, fetch and come. All I need now is my forever home... I have met a big, rather grumpy cat and found he was completely fascinating. Although I would have liked to get a closer look, I was smart enough to keep my distance. br>Adoption Application

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
