This sweet senior is Duke! Duke is 11 years young and a perfectly-sized 14 lbs. His foster says he is a total sweetheart and loves to snuggle up!
He’s potty trained and great on the leash. He gets along great with all - dogs, cats, and kids - however, he can be skittish, and quick movements may startle him, so older children only, please. He is a low-key kind of guy, but he does get the ZOOMIES, and he'll wag his tail nonstop when meeting new friends! When he decides it's time for pets, he will gently place his paw on your leg, as if to ask, "Are you busy? Do you have any spare lovin' to give?" Duke also enjoys going for romps around the neighborhood. He bows his head down like a little gentleman when it's time to leash him up!
Duke would thrive with a person or family who is home a lot as he misses his people so much when they’re away. Before coming to OFR, he was with the same family for his entire life, so he is still learning that you will come back for him.
Duke is an adorable little guy who wants to live out his golden years next to his favorite human. Could that someone be you?
