Dug was an owner surrender on April 10th We had him neutered and microchipped on April 11th He loves to play with a husky pup only about 5 months older than him He is respectful of my 15 year old aussie and my 13 and 7 year old poodle mixes PET INFO: The Animal's name: Dug Breed of animal: Golden Retreiver Date of Birth: October 12th 2023 When was the animal last vaccinated? With our son, he is great, normal puppy playfulness. With owners he had shown resource guarding at times when feeding him, giving him bones or lick matts (not here) Triggers are wiping paws, wiping his mouth when he drools. (No issues here as no drooling nor wiping his paws) (Important to note he was taken to a trainer who advised them to pin Dug when he was resistant to obeying - unfortunately this lost them any and all trust the pup had in them, causing reactions as noted above or peeing from fear) Is there any separation issues? NO Are there any fears? Not that we are aware of ROUTINE: Where is the animal kept during the day? In the house roaming freely Where is it kept at night? Kept in our bedroom with us, has a crate but has recently been sleeping with it open and moves around our room at night. How long is this animal generally left alone in a day? Maybe a few hours sometimes, I am a stay at home mom so we are always home with him or we take him out with us. Is it ever kept outside, and if so, for how long? He goes in and out all day. He scratches at door to be let out and scratches or barks to be let in. Is it used to being chained or kenneled or running free? He runs free, our backyard is fenced in. Have you ever boarded the animal or had a pet sitter out of your home environment? NO What is the animal being fed? Royal Canine Golden Retreiver Puppy Dry food Is it free fed? NO How much per day? He gets between 3-4 cups a day Is it used to bottled water? NO Please provide this pets current routine: Usually wakes up around 7am, has breakfast, in and out most of the morning, plays with us. Some mornings we go walking. He has lunch and nap time when my son naps. More playing, in and out, dinner with us and we all do an evening walk if the weather is good. Bedtime around 10:30ish.
