Duchess is the sweetest little girl. She was the runt of an unwanted litter of pups that were born to an irresponsible owner. She is 4 months old and looks like she will be a medium size dog. She loves other dogs and is good with cats. She arrived from Arkansas to find the home she deserves here in CT. She would be best placed in a family without young children because she could easily knock young children over with her enthusiasm to be loved. The perfect home would have children over 8 years old or another sweet dog so that she could play and release her puppy energy. She has already been spayed, will be up-to-date on shots including rabies, wormed, be on heartworm preventative, frontlined and microchipped. Her adoption fee will be $375 which includes her $125 transport fee to CT. Every penny of all adoption fees are used to rescue other poor souls who are in danger of euthanasia. Adoptions are usually restricted to CT. A home visit (to ensure a safe environment), vet references, and a completed
