Duchess

Application is required. www.midflsheltierescue.com Duchess is a 6 year old rescue, rescued from Amish breeders, used for breeding purposes. She is very very sweet, mild mannered girl. She is a bit over weight at this time. Her current owner has worked with her as best she can, but believes Duchess would do better in a home with a four-legged Sheltie or a buddy close to her size and age to teach her about the world and how it is to be a real Sheltie and how it is to be somebody’s pet that is loved and cherished. Duchess loves to watch animal planet stay close to you and if you’re a real homebody, Duchess is too. ??Her Mild manners make it easy to live with her. She is not a big barker, but has learned to howl for you. Time and patience, dog obedience classes will teach Duchess to build her confidence and be the best she can be. She warms anybody’s heart that meets her, but does take time to trust and gain confidence. We are requiring Duchess have a fenced in backyard as she is just learning to walk on a leash and learn about the world. Vet reference and a buddy to help and encourage her. She just wants to love and be loved.
