Dru has come a long way since first coming to BAPS. Her life previous to BAPS was a very undesirable home life. She was tied 24/7 in a swampy area with table scaps for food. Dru is being fostered by a wonderful responsible loving lady. This is what we learned about Dru from her Foster Mom....... Dru is not food aggressive, or aggressive to the other dog in the home. She loves to play with balls and is not destructive, nor does she touch things that do not belong to her. Dru simply LOVES the water and will swim until you call her back. She comes on recall pretty much of the time and will respond to the whistle. Dru does need more training on the leash, she tends to pull some, but she does not jump up on you. She is rather quiet and hardly ever barks. Dru loves to show affection and behaves very well inside the home. We have also learned Dru does not seem to shed her hair like most dogs do. Anyone interested in this beauty should call BAPS and a visit can be arranged with the Foster mom who is proud to show Dru off. Adopted!
