Got room for a big fella at your house? In particular, a 75 pound mixture of Lab and Mastiff? If so, and if you are a serious adopter, please CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. DROOLIUS CAESAR is the dog and he is looking for a new home. He arrived at the shelter in late March, 2024, and is paired with another shelter dog at the time of this posting. He looks like a happy, playful fella, but staff can give you more details, including about the adoption procedures and fees, when you call. Thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, DROOLIUS was neutered on April 17 and can go home the same day that he is adopted! The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you fall for this big hunk of love. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should run freely in any vehicle. Especially in animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
