Dutchess, Drake's mother, died of heart failure on 8/24/09. Drake seems a little confused but is doing okay. He was so devotted to her that he rarely left her side - not even to play. Drake will need a home where he will immediately feel safe and secure so that he can continue to progress. He is truly an amazing dog and should have many, many years of wonderful companionship for the right home!
Drake is a drop-dead handsome doberman pinscher. He is approx 2 yrs old, docked tail, cropped ears and is a really large, big-boned boy. Drake is an awesome dog - housetrained, well-mannered inside the house, gets along beautifully with other dogs (large and small), does not chase cats, and knows basic commands. Only homes with previous doberman breed experience will be approved for this exceptional boy. This is truly a rare opportunity in rescue to include this remarkable dog in your life!
