At 1.5 years old, I've already faced some tough times, but thanks to the love and care of my foster family, I've learned how to "dog" again. In my past, I've overcome hurdles that have shaped me into the loyal and affectionate pup I am today. While my journey hasn't been easy, I'm ready to find my forever home with a family who understands patience, kindness, and the importance of second chances. I thrive in an environment where I can be myself, surrounded by understanding souls. I've been through a lot, so I'll need a family who can provide the patience and support I need to continue blossoming. Although I'm great with kids aged 12 and up, my enthusiastic nature and penchant for big zoomies mean I'm better suited for a home without younger children. I love meeting new people, and my foster family has helped me work on my manners, so I'm learning not to jump on guests. I'm a social butterfly who enjoys the company of tolerant and confident canine companions, but I'm also content reigning as the sole monarch of my castle. Whether I'm playing with people or other dogs, snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, or simply exploring the world around me, I'm always eager for new adventures and experiences. Don't worry about the basics - I'm house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and even muzzle-trained for vet visits. I do have some chronic allergies, but they're easily managed with medication, topical applications, and a special diet.
