Dozer-Adoption Pen

Update 6-01-09 - Dozer has completed his heartworm treatments and has been tested "heartworm free" and is ready to meet the public! Dozer will be at the upcoming PetsMart Adoption events at the Manchester Rd PetsMart on June 13th and 27th.

We would like everyone to meet Dozer. Dozer is a purebred 2 1/2 year old flashy fawn boxer. He is one gorgeous dude! Dozer weighs in at 85 lbs., is crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped, UTD on shots, and good with other dogs. We don't know about cats or small children.

He loves to go for rides and walks, although he is a little strong on the walk, but he and his foster Mom are working on walking manners. A family with boxer history would be preferred.

Dozer came into our rescue group with a bad case of heartworms, which he has been treated for. But he is on crate rest and hand walking until his recovery period is over. He is doing quite well. He will not be able to attend adoption events for another couple weeks. But believe me, he is worth the wait!!!!!

Note: Dozer needs your help!!!! Heartworm treatments are very expensive. Any donation to Dozer's heartworm fund would be greatly appreciated.

Dozer's adoption fee is $250, a secure fenced yard is needed, and adoption within a 50-mile radius of St. Louis ONLY!
