Dozer

Dozer is back at the shelter and looking for his forever home. Dozer suffered a bad injury to his knee and hip and needed surgery. He has been in a foster home while he recovers and the vet's are extremely pleased with his progress. He's been given the clear to be out for walks and his feeling great. Dozer still needs some work on his obedience. He will need an owner who is experienced with large breed dogs.

Dozer is a BIG boy with an even bigger personality! He's an friendly young boy with endless energy. He ges excited to see just about everyone and barrels at you to say Hi! Dozer will need an owner who has experience with large breed dogs, he's definitely not a dog for first time owners.

Dozer will require obedience classes with his new family to help him with his manners. He can sit and shake a paw, but needs to work on his manners and how to walk properly on leash.

The people who found Dozer had a dog and they said they got along well. He would still need to be introduced to any dog in the home prior to adoption. At this time his size and energy level would easily overwhelm small children and he would be best in an adult only home.
All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters

Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions.
