Courtesy Posting: Riverside Shelter, San Jacinto location, So Cal – ID #A1803230 - “DOVE”- 3 yrs old beautiful chow/husky girl soon to be killed! Who can save her? X URGENT HELP!!! THE RIVERSIDE SHELTER IS EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AT AN ALARMING RATE AND WE DO NOT WANT THIS HUSKY CHOW X GIRL TO BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC LIKE THE OTHERS! BEAUTIFUL “DOVE” IS LISTED AS A 3 YR OLD FEMALE HUSKY CHOW X WHO CAME IN SCARED AFTER BEING FOUND AS A STRAY. SHE FINDS COMFORT IN OTHER DOGS AND IS AVAILABLE TO ADOPT, BUT MOST LIKELY NEEDS RESCUE AND A FOSTER TO SAVE HER. Help!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE FOR DOVE as we have named her. She is listed as 3 years old and while she looks more like a white husky, Dove has a black tongue and seems to act more like a chow. She is kenneled with other dogs and seems to find comfort with them. Dove weighs 46 lbs and came in some old scar on her ear and an old cut above her eye but does not require medical treatment at this time. She arrived fearful which is understandable being likely abandoned. Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, she sadly can be euthanized for space in the next few days, or sooner if the shelter decides to red list her (she is already yellow listed) like they have with so many other young, adoptable dogs without warning for anything minor like a runny nose, or being scared- which she is.
