This is a courtesy post. ** Theresa is the former CEO of Paws Lee County and although she has retired from our Spay & Neuter Clinic, she's still passionate about rescuing the forgotten and unwanted. She's currently taking at-risk dogs from shelters in the middle of the state as well as those who have been abandoned on the streets of "Heartland" Florida. Theresa is fully vetting all of dogs that she is sponsoring. **************************************************************************** This is Dot! She's approximately 18 months old and weighs 15 pounds. She was found wandering in a very rural area of Heartland Florida with her 2 puppies. Not a home or business around for miles, so they were apparently abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Her foster has told us that she has the sweetest, most loving disposition. She's very low-key with moderate energy. She likes other dogs and with her laid back nature, we feel that she'll more than likely do well with cats and children too. Dot is so deserving of having a fairytale ending after the wretched beginning she's had to endure. If you're looking for a laid back smaller dog, please consider her as your new companion.
