My Story

Dot and her friend Dora were running loose at the fairgrounds when the weather was quite cold. A concerned citizen called us asking for help catching the girls and getting them to safety, and we did. Dot is a love bug, energetic, attentive. Does well with most dogs, slow introduction necessary. Unknown on cats, would do well with older children - Dot has a lot of energy, she may knock down little children. We require that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments. We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to [email protected]
