My Story

Hi! My name is Dory and I am looking for a forever home. I am one of a litter of 7 that BCAA helped my brothers and sisters but my owner decided she wanted to keep me even though she couldn't really take care of me and I ended up in a pen with a bunch of adult dogs. My owner recently reached out wanting to give me up as well as she had recently been given a yorkie pup and she said I was too rough with her. I am only about 6 months old and I just want to belong and be loved. My foster mom thinks 'cause I had to wait until all the adult dogs were finished eating before I could eat that I'm a little behind on my weight and will be on the smaller side for a lab, but now she gives me lots of good food and treats in order to help me put a little weight on (I wasn't quite 30lbs when I came into foster). I love everyone I meet, two or four-legged, and don't bother those things called cats. I've done really good in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding; however, if I see or hear you I will let you know not to forget about me as I really, really just want to be with my people and part of the action. I've done pretty good on a leash but do have typical lab puppy energy. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
