Dory’s journey to us started when she was spotted being dumped from a car. Despite this rocky start, she has been nothing short of a joy since her arrival at our shelter. Like her namesake Dory is an optimistic, friendly and adventure-loving dog.
ABOUT DORY:
- American Bulldog/Lab X, Medium-sized, Medium-energy
- 1.5 year-old, Female, 50 lbs
- Dory already has great leash manners, with a little more training she’ll make a great walking companion
- Dory knows how to sit and shake a paw
Spayed, house-trained, microchipped and has her core vaccinations
DORY’S IDEAL HOME:
- A fully fenced yard is ideal for her to play freely, explore and run
- As an active breed, Dory requires plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation
- Children 10+ should be okay as she can be a jumpy
- Her sociability with other dogs and desire to initiate play with them shows that she may be good with another dog in the home, this would be determined at a meet and greet
- She’s a bit unsure around cats and curious about rabbits, so we recommend a home without these small animals
