Dorian

Dorian is probably 7 or 8 years old and could be older. He was surrendered by his owner at the shelter, who said he was 4, and he has youthful white teeth, but his eyes seem a bit older. Dorian came to us with terrible ear infections, ticks, and hot spots, which may be a result of allergies, so it is crucial that he be kept on a good flea preventative and fed grain-free food (ARF can suggest several good brands). Dorian is handsome, beautifully behaved, and great with other animals. He walks beautifully on a leash and is housebroken. He would be a nice, calm, loving pet for an owner willing to have him groomed regularly. Because of his allergies, Dorian should be an indoor pet.

Because of this animal's uncertain history, we assume he or she is not housebroken unless we have stated otherwise. However, most dogs are trainable and eager to please. ARF will happily advise prospective owners about crate training and the latest housebreaking tools.
