Doppler

Doppler was originally adopted out by Pei People, but sadly his owner has extreme health issues and could no longer take care of herself, let alone him. So, this 4 year old is officially screening new homes! Doppler is about 48 pounds, neutered, is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He's good around other dogs on walks, but has been living as an only dog. Update: he has been very good with two other dogs in his foster home! He loves chin scratches and loves to be near people. He gets excited to go sniff on walks - he literally jumps for joy out the front door. He is good on a leash, knows the dog door (he is fully potty trained), and is good with car rides (he does expect you to lift him in). He will sit when told - even without treats. He loves bully sticks. Doppler will crate, but it isn't his preference (he will bark a little, but won't try and hurt himself). He is generally very quiet, not a barker most of the time - only a few quiet hrumphs. Doppler seems to do equally well with men and women, and while there are no kids in his foster home, we have no reason to believe he won't do just great with kids. He can't wait to meet his forever family! He is fostering in Tucson, AZ.
