Donte

Meet Donte! Donte is an absolutely adorable 3 year old Pomeranian. This 9.5 pound cutie would tell us quite a story if he could talk. Donte found himself a stray with practically all his hair on his back end missing. He then eneded up at a overflowing shelter where he completely shut down to the point of making himself sick. After being transferred to the medical building he got better with a calm environment. After Donte's great escape from the shelter and into a foster home with our organization, he was confused. He's quite the shy guy and will need a calm understanding home who will let him blossom on his own time. It took about a week for this guy to open up to me and begin wagging his tail. He's very mellow for a pomeranian but I do believe with some tender loving care and bonding to his person he will shine one day. Donte would benefit from someone that can spend a lot of time with him. He is crate trained and working on his potty training. He is very quiet for a pomeranian. His beautiful coat is growing back and I do believe it will be back to 100% in no time. He is good with other dogs but would benefit from calm dogs. Due to his stress level of high energy or loud environments he is in need of a home with no kids. Donte passed his vet check with flying colors and is in good overall health.
