Hey, my name is Donny! I'm around one year old and we think I’m a Dachshund mix with maybe Jack Russell (?) who unfortunately had a tough start to life. I am also much smaller than my photo makes me look! I am only 21 lbs and will stay small! You see, I was in the real scary and loud place call animal control but to me.. it seemed like a prison and I don’t know what I did wrong. I'm just a puppy, so you can imagine how scared I was. I didn't go out to play, was to scared to go potty outside, and would just sit in the back corner of my run and shake. I'm a real nervous boy. But can you blame me?! Once I got out of the shelter, a nice foster took me in, and once I was let out to play with her other dog, I changed completely! No more fear because I had a friend to play with! I'm real sweet, I just need you to have patience with me because, well, I still get nervous. I'd really thrive in a home with another dog so I won't feel so scared. I really look up to others to help break me out of my shell. I'm working on my house training and crate training but I almost never have an accident and I've pretty much got it down now!
