Donnie is a sweet, sweet boy who needs a special, patient person so take him in. He is about a year old and weighs around 35lbs or so. He came to us from a local shelter about 6 mos ago - they had him listed as feral. He has come along way since we rescued him, but needs someone to take him that last step!
He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, but he is still very hesitant with human touch. He will lay on the bed with his mom and does snuggle and seems to enjoy getting pets, but in general he shys away from you when you approach to pet him. He also HATES being on leash...and flails about if you try to lead him with one.
We URGENTLY need to find a home (preferably with another sweet pooch) to take him in and focus on his issues. We know with some love he will get past this last hurdle - do you think you can help?????
