My Story

Meet Donna! 60lb German Shepard Mix Here's what you need to know about her: -She's a ball of love -Very sweet, friendly and always happy -She is your shadow! Shell follow you around wherever you go. Cooking in the kitchen? Shes right under your feet. Laying on the couch? Shes right beside you on the floor. Working from home? Shes laying right next to you with her head on your feet. -She gets along well with other dogs and loves her playtime! Shes got zoomies for days and loves to play fetch with a ball. She would do best in a home with another larger dog or by herself. Her foster brother is about 20lbs and she tends to bully him a bit, but she just wants to play! -Shes crate trained and were working on her commands to crate up without being led in by treats but regardless she gets right in and loves her big cozy bed and cuddling up. She walks well on a leash, doesnt pull and loves going for walks in the fresh air! -Non-destructive, shes been left out of the crate for a while and left alone and sits right by the door awaiting your return -She listens well when you tell her no or to not get on the couch -Donna was not the biggest fan of the car when I first got her but she's gotten a lot better and will actually jump right up in my car now. Stairs are still not her friend, she needs an extra push and some help going down the stairs, up doesnt seem to be as big of a problem. -Were working on Donna jumping - she gets very excited and wants to give you kisses -Recently was tested with small children and did not do the best - she's gotten a bit territorial over me and stayed right next to me with a low growl so would prefer to see her go to a home without small children.
