Donald - IN FOSTER

Meet sweet Donald, affectionately known as Leo' by his foster family. At 1 year old and just under 40 pounds, Donald would fit right in pretty much anywhere! Not only is he very dog friendly, but he does great around elementary age children. He has a rambunctious play style and would do well with a doggy sibling, but he would also love all the attention of a one-dog household. He has done very well in playgroup, and got along quite nicely with his foster sister. With a consistent schedule, he is almost completely potty trained, and in the weeks he was in foster, he made leaps and bounds with crate training. Because of his age and the amount of time he spent in the shelter prior to foster, he definitely still has some younger puppy tendencies. He has a lot of energy, but knows when to be gentle. He is very good motivated, making him quite trainable, and he absolutely loves snuggles and kisses; he'd love to sleep in the bed if you let him, but is also content in his crate or on a blanket. Though he is quite the destroyer of plush toys, he knows what he can chew and what he can't, which is awesome! He loves car rides, crunching ice, chewing on a bone, and snuggling with his person. If you're looking for unconditional love, lots of snuggles, and a goofy personality, Donald is absolutely the one for you.
