You can save animals like the Domino Puppies by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. These cute little babies were born in a high kill shelter and are desperately looking for their own homes! As of the first week of February, they are 8 weeks old and just the most darling little furballs around. Mom is a Jack Russell mix (and needs a home too!) and Dad is believed to be a Lhasa Apso. They are expected to be small dogs when fully grown, and will make wonderful family pets. Please contact us ASAP so that we can start working on your applications! There are 3 girls and 3 boys!!

Breed Estimate: Lhasa Apso and Jack Russell Terrier mix

Gender: 3 boys and 3 girls

Approximate weight: 2 pounds each now...but they will most likely remain small

Approximate age: 8 weeks

Location: high kill shelter in NOVA

Cratetrained: they are used to being in a crate, but are not completely housebroken yet - they are still babies!!

Coat Type: full coat, may have some long and shedding...not completely sure

Personality: happy little pups who have been in cared for and handled by loving shelter staff

The adoption fee for these dogs is $150, which covers the cost of routine vet care. The spay/neuter surgery will be the adopter's responsibility.
