Dolly Dawg

Meet our very own Dolly Dawg ! Dolly Dawg is approximately 6 years old and completely embodies what it means to thriving in her adulthood! This sweet, gentle girl has clearly had a hard life, being abandoned by her owners in an apartment without any food or water, but that hasn't broken her spirit. Initially, Dolly was shut down and defeated at the local ACC but she quickly gained some pep in her step when she realized there was an Uber outside the shelter waiting to drive her to safety. Dolly jumped into the uber without prompt, showcased a huge smile plastered across her face and smothered her foster with grateful kisses and ask for belly rubs! Since being in care, we've learned that Dolly has her "sit"and "come" commands mastered! Dolly walks beautifully on a leash! She may pull for a second if she sees another dog or has to go urgently but quickly gets back on track with her walker! Dolly is very gentle with everyone, kids, dogs, adults and we believe she would thrive with a cat if introduced!. Dolly loves to accept affection! Dolly loves to chill with her one person or hang in a large group but dont worry, if you have to leave her alone for a while.. she'll sleep the time away. Dolly is not destructive at all. Dolly is completely housebroken! Dolly is the epitome of the perfect dog and is worth every second you spent reading about her! Just remember that lesson, nothing worth having comes easy? Although Dolly is an easy, peasy girl she will require weekly baths for the next few weeks! Dolly was clearly neglected in the past and is battling a bacteria based skin infection. Her current skin needs don't affect her quality of life at all and this girl is ready to spend the next best years of her life with someone who loves her as much she will surely love them!
