My Story

Dolly is a darling 9 month old, 37lb beauty rescued from euthanasia for space at an overcrowded shelter by our organization. Dolly is a one-of-a-kind canine companion ready to steal your heart! This sweet pup may start with a jump, but quickly settles into a warm greeting of hugs. With an affinity for treats and a particular fondness for cheese, Dolly is easily motivated and eager to learn. Watch as she showcases her fetching skills, enthusiastically chasing after tennis balls and plush toys alike. During playtime, Dolly’s excitement is contagious, and she thrives on interaction with her favorite humans. Despite her occasional exuberance, she maintains a gentle demeanor, although she may nibble on your hands out of sheer affection. On walks, she's a champ at starting and stopping on the leash. Dolly’s personality shines through as she explores her surroundings with a mix of curiosity and goofiness. Her captivating eyes reflect her sweet and attentive nature, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking love and adventure. ******************************* Dolly is currently in a foster home, but we are happy to arrange a meet & greet with approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/USAHOTNADOPT2024 Adoption process: Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
