My Story

Dolly has found her forever home with Arik and Beth in Brighton, MA

Meet Dolly!! She is a very sweet 10 wk old pup weighing 10 lbs & We believe that she is a Terrier Mix, possible Jack Russel or Rat Terrier, but not really sure what she is mixed with. She will be a small to medium sized dog when full grown, approx 30 lbs. Dolly was found in a ditch along with her 4 siblings by workers repairing some overhead lines after a storm. Her foster mom describes her as having normal puppy energy who loves being outdoors, playing with squeaky toys, chewies and running through the water. Her and her siblings are just full of life and are always ready for walks in the woods. Dolly and her brothers & sisters all had sarcoptic mange when they were found. They have all been treated by antibiotics and the spots where the hair was missing has now grown in nicely. Dolly has been tested with children as young as 3 and as old as 16 and does just fine. She has normal curiosity towards cats, but as this age will learn to live without any issues. She is Crate trained and doing a great job with house training. She uses a potty pad in an emergency :) Dolly also knows her basic commands! If this sweet girl is right for your home please apply for her today. Her adoption fee is $425.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
