DOGZILLA (Neutered!)

DOGZILLA is actually a sweet and gentle male dog. Staff has listed him as approximately one year of age. He appears to be a mixture of Hound and Terrier. Based on his photos, Petfinder’s AI wants to identify him as a Fox Terrier. His markings are tan with white. He started out housed in one of the large dog crates due to space constraints that are ongoing at the shelter. Luckily, he weighed in at only 31 pounds. Fortunately, he has been paired now with another dog and is able to run freely in a kennel. Thanks to a partnership between the university of Tennessee and the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, DOGZILLA, was neutered and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, February 12. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt DOGCILLA or one of the other spayed or neutered dogs currently at the shelter. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
