My Story

Meet adoptable Doc! Doc came in as a stray along with another dog named Rooster. Neither of them were reclaimed by their previous owners, and are hopeful that their forever homes are out there! Doc is a pup that needs a special home who would be willing to work with a shy pup like himself. He can be the most loving and affectionate dog, but you really have to work through his shell first in order to get to know that side of him. Doc will approach everyone, but is pretty skittish and has to be reassured that you can be trusted. He is fantastic with other dogs, and would thrive in a multi-dog household. Doc would most likely be great with kids who have experience with timid dogs. Doc is around two years old and 55 pounds. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative for heartworm disease.
