Dixon and Mason

Meet Dixon and Mason, two 3 year old chesapeake bay retriever mixes. They came in as strays. Both boys are wondeful dogs. Normally when walking two dogs at a time it's hard to handle them, but Dixon and Mason both just trot along side next to you. They both like to play ball in the yard. Dixon is the one with white down his chest and on his paws. He is also wearing the orange collar. Mason is the one that is slightly smaller and has little to no white on him and is wearing a red collar. Dixon is more outgoing than Mason, but Mason is more of a sweetheart and prefers to be around people. Dixon likes to explore. The boys are housed together but do not need to be adopted together.

Update-Mason and Dixon have been returned to the shelter after being adopted. They were left out in the backyard and would dig underneath the fence. There were also some potty training issues that weren't specified. Both boys have been neutered. The family said that they are amazing with kids! They're very gentle and outgoing. They know how to sit. Dixon is still the more headstrong one, and Mason is still the little sweetie.

Our adoption policys include: No same day adoption. This is to ensure that there are no impulse buys. If you currently have animals or had animals in the past, we need to check with the vet clinic to make sure they up-to-date on vaccinations. We now require proof of home-ownership due to some landlords not allowing pets. You can call the shelter if you have any questions.
