I was wandering the streets and getting very close to a busy highway when my Good Samaritan found me.  They called vet clinics and the Humane Society, had me scanned for a microchip, put an ad online,  posted signs all over the place, and waited two weeks for the phone to ring.  No one was looking for me.  That makes me really sad.

There is not a reason in the world for someone not to want me.  I am very calm for a boxer, well socialized, I am perfect on a leash, I like children, I am crate and house trained, or I will sleep on a dog bed placed near yours, at night.  I get excited and wiggle but I seldom if ever jump up, and I love giving kisses.  I am pretty careful around toddlers too.  I am loving my new playmate in foster care!  We play till we are pooped, nap, and start all over again!

They say I am a heavy boned boxer so I will probably weigh between 70 and 80 pounds.  I am not underweight right now, I look in very good general health but I know HBR will check me out on the inside.  I really am a gentle boy and would make the perfect companion for any person or family.

OK, so you saw 'the ear'.  Its not my fault!  Someone didn't provide the proper after care for my cropping so this is the one blemish I have to live with.  But you get used to it and pretty soon you will find it rather endearing.  And then, just when you think it will never stand, something super intriguing will capture my eye and that ear will stand at complete attention!  It will make you laugh!  I promise!

I cut a very imposing figure that will intimidate any 'bad guys' that might have nefarious ideas concerning your home, car, or person.  Believe me, a running boxer at my weight is like a small locomotive steaming toward anyone that might threaten my family!  Doesn't your home have room for a great protector and friend?  Let it be me!
