Hello there! My name is Dixie and I'm a young tripod lady looking for my forever home. I may be down one leg, but I don't let that slow me down! I am sweet and gentle and wag my tail a lot. I am young and I want to walk and run wherever my humans want to go on my very strong 3 legs. I like rides in the car. I am very healthy and calm. I look and listen and learn. I am house-trained and know how to ask to go out. I know what "sit down" . I eat as if there is no tomorrow and I drink a lot of water. I sleep through the night on my bed and dog-nap in daytime. I am ready to check out the backyard at 7:00 AM. If you would like a companion I am your girl! I try to be there for my foster Mom and Dad at all times. We have not been around children or other animals yet here, except their dog, I wish she would play chase with me! You can call my foster at 619 889-4712 to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption.
